Out with the cold, in with the warm! Breakfast that is…

My go to breakfast is a green goddess smoothie (recipe on the recipe page), or any kind of smoothie for that matter! But with snow coming down in Buffalo, and a freeze warning in North Carolina tonight, the last thing I want upon getting out of my warm bed is a cold drink. That’s why I’ve switched my breakfast routine to a good ‘ol bowl of oatmeal! 


 It’s super simple to make. I just buy the old fashioned oats and warm them up in the microwave with 3/4-1 cup of almond milk for a 1/2 cup of oats. I then add whatever I can find 🙂 sliced banana, almond or peanut butter, chia seeds, flax seeds, Stevia, cinnamon, pumpkin, blueberries, pecans, the list is endless! Oats keep you fuller longer, so this hearty, healthy breakfast will definitely hold you over through the cool mornings. And it’s IBS friendly, too 🙂 You can even make this the night before and then just warm it up in the microwave for about a minute. I like to oats, oats, oats! Enjoy! Xoxo
