Living in North Carolina, everyone is getting PUMPED up for the SuperBowl this year! #PantherNation #KeepPounding


With football, comes snacks. Dabbin’ on them snacks!


Being an IBS sister without being able to indulge in the infamous Super Bowl spread can be TOUGH! So, I wanted to make it a little easier for you today!

Toss the chips! Eating too much corn can leave your stomach in a crunch. Try this crunchy alternative to a chip, and dip it in your favorite salsa! Carrot chips! Most grocery stores carry the chips πŸ™‚



Perfect for dipping, and healthier than the deep-fried-ness! Which will send your stomach in opposing end zone.


If you’re going low-FODMAP, try this salsa recipe! I will say it is very hard to find salsa at the store that doesn’t include onions.Β FODMAP Free Salsa

This is my favorite snack, and it’s so low-calorie, and so IBS friendly! SO Guilt free! Just make sure you chew it up super good, for it is roughage πŸ™‚ My Mom uses that word a lot and I can’t STAND it, but it’s true πŸ™‚ Raw veggies can definitely wreak havoc on your digestive system if you’re not careful. It’s a great source of fiber! In addition, carrots are also attributed to their beta carotene, a good source of antioxidants, rich in Vitamin A, C, K, B8, pantothenic acid, folate, potassium, iron, copper, AND manganese! I also hear it’s awesome for your eyesight due to the beta carotene & Vitamin A πŸ˜‰ AND can balance your hormones! ENJOY!

For a warmer alternative: Throw then in the oven at 425 degrees with some coconut oil for about 20 minutes, dip in ketchup, YUM!
