Hi IBS Sisters! I hope you are all doing well! If you follow me on Instagram & Twitter, you know that I’m going through a major flare up from the holidays! Probably stuff I put in my body that IBS didn’t approve of, as well as stress. I look about 6 months pregnant right now. I’m in a lot of pain, and just sooo uncomfortable. TOTAL flare up. So, I decided to give my digestion system a little break. I had one solid meal today for lunch, and then smoothies for breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, I had this Blueberry Walnut Cobbler Protein Smoothie, and boy was it delicious!

Everything is pictured above except the spinach. I don’t really measure everything out, but just put a little bit of everything in my nutribullet & blended away!

1 serving of vega vanilla protein

1 tsp of matcha powder (I needed a little energy this AM!)

1 tsp of chia seeds

A few walnuts

Half of a banana

Handful of frozen blueberries

A little spinach

A little Good Belly Blueberry & Acai Berry Probiotic Drink

Sprinkle of Himalayan Sea Salt

Top with Almond Milk


This is a great detox smoothie, and also anti-inflammatory! According to the Detox SELF supplement magazine I recently read, blueberries could be nature’s miracle pill! They’re high in fiber which helps pull fat through your digestive tract, and contain antioxidants that speed fat burning. Walnuts are also high in antioxidants! They help you maintain a healthy weight, are good for your heart, and for your brain health! If you wanted to add a little oatmeal to this as well, that’s been known to make this blueberry delight taste like a cobbler as well πŸ™‚
